International Women's Day and Mahakavi Bharathi' Dream

 International Women's Day

 Mahakavi Bharathi' Dream

Mahakavi Bharathi (1882 – 1921)  was a great poet and he had composed poems on several topics including his vision of Modern Women.

Here are four such poems of this great visionary depicting the the heights to which women who faced many challenges would march to.

We are 2021 and What Bharathi dreamt about Modern women is becoming a reality. Congratulations to all achievers on this International Women's Day, today.

Bharathi conceived that Modern Woman would hold her hed high  and look straight in to the eyes of the one she faces. She would be fearless and possess great integrity. She would  wiproud of her wisdom and coniviction. She would be resolute and never falters in her marching strides. She faces criticism aand yet she would know hoe face life's challenges.

Bharathi dreamt of women to learn many arts and sciences, design comforts, throway old meaningless customs and faith and ensure the efforts of mankind be offered to God. She would lead life that menfolk would be proud of.

Modern Women would travel far and wide to get educated, learn technology and apply in day to day life. She would implement and apply what they learnt and make it available to all. She would come out the confines of home and lead an independent and dignified life

Bharathi goes to praise the modern women to succeed

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Stotrams

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Stotrams

I had an opportunity to attend a Bhajan which was to start at 7.30 AM. They asked us to assemble at 6.30 AM. The Bhjan hall had around 50+ pictures of Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Varing sizes envolped with Swami's Vibhuthi materialized on the pictures. At 6.30 AM the a devotee started chanting several of Swami's Stotrams including Suprabatham, Ashothram etc. It went for well over an hour and Bhajans followed. I wanted to learn those stotrams but not sure where to get the lyrics.
In one of my trips, I bought the publication "Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Stothram (Tamil)" from Prashanthi Book store.
That had the lyrics for most of what I heard .
