We used to hold Bhajans on March 2nd and May 24th every year.

Mahakavi Bharathi' Dream
Mahakavi Bharathi (1882 – 1921) was a great poet and he had composed poems on several topics including his vision of Modern Women.
Here are four such poems of this great visionary depicting the the heights to which women who faced many challenges would march to.
We are 2021 and What Bharathi dreamt about Modern women is becoming a reality. Congratulations to all achievers on this International Women's Day, today.
Bharathi conceived that Modern Woman would hold her hed high and look straight in to the eyes of the one she faces. She would be fearless and possess great integrity. She would wiproud of her wisdom and coniviction. She would be resolute and never falters in her marching strides. She faces criticism aand yet she would know hoe face life's challenges.
Bharathi dreamt of women to learn many arts and sciences, design comforts, throway old meaningless customs and faith and ensure the efforts of mankind be offered to God. She would lead life that menfolk would be proud of.
Modern Women would travel far and wide to get educated, learn technology and apply in day to day life. She would implement and apply what they learnt and make it available to all. She would come out the confines of home and lead an independent and dignified life
